It’s a film soaked in nostalgia, drenched in fake blood, and glazed with the artificial sweetness of a dollar-store Halloween bag. Between its moody fog and clunky dialogue, Candy Corn tries to taste like vintage horror but somehow ends up like the candy itself: hard to chew and best left uneaten.
